Singapore has established itself as a vibrant polo destination in Southeast Asia. With excellent facilities, professional coaching, and inclusive communities, the clubs in Singapore appeal to players of all levels, both locally and internationally.
Established in 1886, the Singapore Polo Club stands as one of Asia's oldest and most esteemed polo institutions. Situated just a 20-minute drive from the central district, it provides extensive facilities and services tailored for both polo and equestrian enthusiasts.
Regarding membership amenities, the club features two restaurants, a gym, tennis courts, a swimming pool, a wellness centre, club rooms, and more. It also offers facilities for polo and other equestrian activities like jumping and dressage. This includes a regulation-sized polo field, a covered arena measuring approximately 140 feet by 220 feet, and additional outdoor arenas for polo and riding. The club provides livery services for its members within its stabling facilities, which accommodate over 100 stalls. The polo club is affiliated with the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA).
Individuals interested in participating in equestrian and club activities are required to become members, with the club offering a variety of membership categories.
Colts Polo, located at the Turf Club in Singapore, is an arena polo club driven by grassroots efforts. It focuses on fostering a friendly and inclusive environment that caters to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Boasting the largest polo arena in Singapore, measuring 260 x 160 feet in a Formula Polo style without boards, it is accredited by the Argentine Polo Association (AAP). This makes Colts the first and only polo school outside Argentina to receive such recognition.
The club does not require membership for participation and is celebrated for its warm, family-like atmosphere. Additionally, the school benefits from its base at the Singapore Turf Club Riding Centre, where chukkers and matches are sometimes held in the expansive covered arena.
